Teatrino presents Fr. Larry Faraon in April 12 Lenten Recollection

Teatrino opens its gates anew to a prayerful and enlightened Holy Week as Fr. Larry Faraon O.P. conducts his yearly Recollection on Holy Wednesday, April 12.

This year’s theme is: You in Me, And I in You – A Communion of Communities. “It is the desire of Jesus that all of us will be one. Our oneness is called ‘communion’. The pattern of such unity is found in three ways. First, Communion of Creation; second, “Eucharistic Communion”, and third, “Communion of Saints,” said Fr. Larry.

The popular and much sought-after retreat master will inspire and lead retreat participants to highlight their commonness instead of their differences in ways that will increase their ability to commune with God and their higher selves.

Those interested may reserve slots by calling 721-6726 and 722-4535 loc. 116, or register on-site starting at 1 p.m. on the day of the Recollection. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fr. Larry will dwell on this year’s theme at the start of the Recollection which starts at 2 p.m. Holy Eucharist and healing follow at 4 p.m. There will be a Fellowship at 5 p.m.

The Music Museum group started the tradition of the Lenten Recollection at Teatrino in 2010. Since then, it has held the Lenten event every year to provide a simple but meaningful way to share God’s word and His love with the public.
