Vinyl Records were the “big thing” for teenagers and adults who loved their music way back when. Introduced in the late 40’s they were “unbreakable” and replaced the breakable records that older music fans listened to in the earlier decades. With the advent of the cassette tape and later, the music CD, vinyl records faded from the music scene and became extinct for younger generations.

Vinyl records are still riding that big comeback wave, sales up 38% in a year, says Ars Technica.
