Blade Runner 2049 – 6 October 2017
The much-awaited sequel to the neo-noir science fiction film that added to Harrison Ford’s box office appeal is back, and how. This time around Ford teams up with heart throb Ryan Gosling in a new search for replicants. The adventure starts when a replicant blade runner named K discovers the remains of a once-pregnant replicant. To prevent war between replicants and humans, Officer K (Gosling) is tasked to find the child and destroy all evidence related to it.

Geostorm – 12 October 2017
This is a disaster-science fiction-action film like no other. Starring Gerald Butler, the movie is about a satellite designer who tries to save the world from a storm of epic proportions caused by malfunctioning climate-controlling satellites. Jake Lawson (Butler) heads into space to prevent the satellites from programming disaster-causing small pods that create the monstrous storms.

Thor: Ragnarok  – 25 October 2017
This Marvel superhero film is the sequel to 2011’s Thor and 2013’s Thor: The Dark World. Four years after the events lof The Dark World and two years after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor is held captive on Planet Sakaar without his hammer and he must win a gladiatorial duel against guess who: his old  friend Hulk. The goal is to return to Asgard in time to stoip the villainous Hela and the impending Ragnarok—the doom of all Asgardian civilization.

The Mountain Between Us – 25 October 2017
This American romance-survival adventure stars Idris Elba and Kate Winslet as Dr. Ben Bass and photojournalist Alex Martin. On an assignment together their plane crashes on snowy mountain wilderness due to a severe storm. They are stranded, lost and injured and must fight to survive, along with Dr. Bass dog whom he brings on the trip. What happens after they are rescued is the heart of the story.

Paddington 2 – 10 November 2017
This movie follows the adventures of Paddington, the bear, who is now happily settled with the Brown family in London. He picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, but the gift gets stolen. What will this cute bear do?

Justice League – 16 November 2017
Finally, they’re here. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg together! Months after the events of Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince assemble a team of metahumans to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons who are on the hunt for three Mother Boixes on Earth. Will it be too late to save the planet? Let justice reign!

Coco – 22 November 2017
This computer-animated musical fantasy film follows the story of a 12-year old boy named Miguel who sets off a chain of events relating to a century-old mystery that leads to an extraordinary family reunion. Based on the colorful Mexican holiday called Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), this is a heart-warming family movie indeed.

The Star  – 8 December 2017
This 3D computer-animated Christian comedy film is just right for the Holidays.Based on the Christmas Story, the film stars a donkey named Bo and his animal friends who were all there at the manger when Baby Jesus was born. They become the unsung heroes of Christmas.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi – 15 December 2017
The big story for the Holidays is this movie. The second film in the Star Wars trilogy takes off where Star Wars: The Force Awakens leaves off. Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence is threatened when he meets Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of The Force. That’s all that they will reveal.
