Charlie Park & K-Pops Live at Greenhills Promenade

Don’t miss this rare and special night with the music of Charlie Park and K-Pops! Cozy up and relax a bit as they accompany holiday shoppers and passers-by at the Greenhills Promenade. They will perform their musical talent on Dec 21, 2014 at 5:30pm.

From classical and rock to jazz and world music, the saxophone has invaded many cultures and styles. Charlie Park and K-Pops is a group of professionals and businessmen from Seoul, Korea who just loves to play saxophone. Headed by Charlie Park, the Master Saxophonist, a famous and full-time sax player in Korea is the man behind this formidable saxophone collaboration. Aside from being a famous saxophonist, he also owns a school for music in Korea, The Charlie Park Academy.

With Charlie Park, saxophonists Moon Taek , Kyun Young, Eun Jung Park and Soon Jung Hong were binded with their love for music. They just enjoy doing what they love most, performing in front of people.

• OhyoungYANG, 1st Saxophonist, is the owner of Cold Chain Company

• Jungsook KIM, 1st Saxophonist, is the owner of Soft Engineering Company

• Eunja CHOI,  2st Saxophonist, is a teacher of  high school.

• Eunjung PARK , 2nd Saxophonist is a plain housewife who just loves music

• Soonjung HONG,  3rd Saxophonist and the  group’s spokesman, is the owner of Phil-Whashin Engineering Company.  He has been doing business with a number of Filipino businessman  for more than 2 decades.  He’s into the refrigeration business, a mechanical engineer by profession.

In Seoul, they have a regular session at the park where people watch and listen to on weekends.  They do it for free. They are always invited to play in public parks on special occasions. Whenever they are given some sort of honorarium or compensation for these, they donate to charity whatever they receive.
